Majlis al-hadith

Join Us for Delaware’s First Public Hadith Reading with a Sanad Conferral!

This three-day winter intensive will feature a complete reading of Imam al-Nawawi’s Forty Hadith collection, accompanied by brief explanations (sharh).

In partnership with ISD, ISOCDE, and Riwaq, the program will include multiple speakers and engaging sessions. Participants who attend the entire reading will be honored with a sanad (hadith chain) connecting them to the Prophet Muhammed ﷺ through Imam al-Nawawi.

As commonly said within our tradition, the one who knows himself knows his Lord. The relationship with knowing Allah SWT has a direct correlation with knowing ourselves. Often times, this cannot be done without also connecting with those around us as well. The Prophet (SAW) was a master of all three, spending days in isolation (prior to prophethood), nights in worship and also being the best to the people around him.

Faithfully navigating: modern challenges for young Muslims

A full-day program on navigating modern challenges as young Muslims. This full-day program will consist of multiple mini-seminars by various speakers.
